Justin Bieber headlined the Coachella on Saturday night, and reviews of his performance were…mixed!
Per Billboard, Justin spent “roughly 25 minutes of his Coachella headlining set going down an internet rabbit hole,” playing clips like “Deez Nuts” as well as his 2008 cover of “With You” (and other videos from the early Belieber years). The YouTube of it all had people chatting, including Katy Perry and Zara Larsson.
Katy joked on Instagram, “Thank God he has Premium. I don’t wanna see no ads,” while Zara posted “It’s giving lets smoke and watch YouTube” on TikTok, adding “He’s in my dream blunt rotation.”
People assumed Zara was criticizing Justin’s performance, but she clarified her TikTok in the comments of a post from Complex, writing “People thinking I’m hating are projecting lol I was vibing hardddddddddddddd.”
Glad that’s cleared up! Reminder: Justin Bieber will return to Coachella next weekend on April 18. Also reminder: he was paid a rumored $10 million for this performance!
