While the royals gathered for a very public Church walkabout on Easter Sunday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry spent a quiet day at home with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, seemingly doing an egg hunt in the paradise that is their Montecito garden.
The Sussexes keep their kids very private, but Meghan’s been sharing more photos and videos lately, and her Easter content is best described as adorable. Swipe below for Archie and Lili racing to get hidden eggs, Lilibet walking over a little creek, and Archie dying Easter eggs. The sweetest!
Back in February, a source chatted to Rob Shuter's #ShuterScoop about why Harry and Meghan decided to start sharing photos of their kids, saying that while Harry was initially adamant that there'd be "no faces, no exposure, no brand strategy around the kids," he's softened his stance. Per the insider, "He’s evolved to align with Meghan. He trusts her completely. If she believes this is smart for the family, he backs her 100 percent."
Another source claimed that Kris Jenner—who the Sussexes are friends with—has been giving the couple advice about "brand control and family positioning.”
Meanwhile, there are reports that Harry’s kids could meet their grandfather for the first time in years during a visit to England. A source close to Harry tells The Times, “If he was invited by the King, he would get a package of security that automatically kicks in. He’d like an invite to Sandringham. Would he go? It would depend who was there. If the King was to say, ‘Come up and spend some time with the family,’ he’d love that.”
That said, “There is not a world in which he brings the kids back unless there is an enhanced security package around them. If the King wants to see them, all he needs to do is invite them over and it can happen.”
