The Love Is Blind season 10 reunion gave fans PLENTY of talk about: Bri and Connor’s reconciliation! Jess and Haramol’s new romance! Devonta’s pregnant fiancée! But perhaps the biggest topic of conversation was a perceived change in Amber Morrison’s appearance—mostly, her lips. After spending the whole season dealing with allegations that she was lying about her age, Amber recently took to Instagram to address speculation about her facial appearance…and as it turns out, the change had nothing to do with filler or Botox.
In response to an aesthetic nurse who took to Instagram to share her theory on Amber’s seemingly altered appearance at the reunion (she thought migrated lip filler was possibly to blame), Amber explained what was really going on. “It was actually an androgenic hormonal response due to excessive cortisol levels following the months after the season,” she wrote.
She continued, “My face developed these deep cyst pockets which kept causing infection. I was on several rounds of antibiotics and finally was put on spironolactone which has slowly been helping. Unfortunately areas like my upper [forehead] and upper lip are still healing.”
Well, that clears up that!
In case you missed it: Fans were shocked at the reunion when it was revealed that Amber and her match from the show, Jordan Faeth, had decided to divorce just four months after marrying on the show. Jordan is now dating someone new—which Amber apparently learned about backstage at the reunion.
What’s more: Those claims that Jordan made about Amber getting “blacked out in the first 30 minutes” of one of his friend’s weddings? Yeah, Amber shut those rumors down, too. During an episode of The Viall Files, she clarified that—while she did drink at the wedding—she simply fell asleep on a table at 10 p.m. Jordan’s reaction?
“He takes my keys and puts me in my car to sleep,” she said. “And I fall asleep and he goes back and keeps partying with his friends. This is like at 11 p.m. at night. I wake up and I’m scared and alone in my car. I don’t know where he’s at, I’m hurt that he just left me there.”
