Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal turned the 2026 Oscars into a v public and v cute date night. In case you missed it, the pair walked the red carpet together (kinda rare; they don’t do this a ton!), and looked impeccable. Gracie wore a two-piece Celine ensemble with sequined detailing, while Paul went with a black buttoned-up tux (also from Celine, ofc).
But the couple were also caught on camera during the ceremony itself. Backstage during the show, the pair was filmed walking hand in hand before stopping to chat with Shaboozey, and you just gotta see the moment for yourself:

Gracie just celebrated Paul’s birthday back in February with some cute photos of them kissing, and a source recently told People that they’re “deeply in love.”
Aside from the occasional public appearance or post, Gracie and Paul tend to keep things relatively private. As Paul told Rolling Stone back in September, “Everything to do with that is deeply precious to me and I don’t want to.…This isn’t…I don’t really…umm…I want to protect those things fundamentally.”
He also told GQ the year before that, “I mean, the speculation has been kind of mad for the last x amount of year. I’m not comfortable inviting any access into that part of my life,” he continued. “How I am in my private life is so precious to me because I get very little of it, and it might be public interest, but it’s not public-obligated information.”
