Anyone else basically just watching the 2026 Winter Olympics for Chloe Kim? In case everything pre-2020 is a blur at this point, Chloe made history in the 2018 Games, becoming the youngest woman to win an Olympic snowboarding gold medal at just 17 years old. Then, during the 2022 Games, she became the first female snowboarder to win back-to-back gold medals at the snowboard halfpipe event. Like, that is major!
And this time around, Chloe’s approaching the Olympics with a super-chill attitude, telling Time magazine, “I don’t think I’m thinking about winning so much. Not to humblebrag, but I’m quite satisfied with the two golds that I have already. There’s so much amazing emerging talent, it’ll just be such an honor to compete with the next generation. I just want to be satisfied with the way I’m riding.”
On top of this healthy outlook, Chloe is heading into the Olympics with the support of her parents and her boyfriend, Myles Garrett. And if the mention of “her boyfriend, Myles Garrett” has you feeling all kinds of nosy, great news! We did a deep dive. Starting with...
Chloe’s boyfriend is an NFL star
Chloe is currently romancing Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, who is kind of a big deal, having been selected first overall by the Browns in the 2017 NFL draft. He also currently holds the NFL single season sack record (which sounds like a good thing!).
He and Chloe went public with their romance in November 2025
Though they first soft-launched their ’ship with a joint appearance at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in May (as seen above ^^), they really made things official during a November Browns game when they shared a very cute (and very public!) kiss in front of the cameras.
Ahem:
When asked about the PDA by Time, Chloe said, “I’ve never really been in a public relationship. So I think I’ve always been a little scared of it. But I did not know that that was going to happen. I think it was a really sweet thing. No one’s mad about it. Which is a good start. I don’t think we were trying super hard to keep it private. But it wasn’t something we wanted to blast publicly.”
She continued, “We just did our thing. We didn’t really think too much about it, but now that it’s out, it’s whatever. Nothing is going to change. We’re very happy. We’re just going to keep supporting each other.”
Yes, he will be in Italy cheering Chloe on during the Olympics
During that same interview with Time, Chloe was asked whether fans could expect to see Myles show up at the 2026 Winter Games, to which she replied, “Yes. He’s planning to come. Now it’s his turn to support me. I’ve been there for him all fall and some of winter. Now it’s his turn.”
