Love Island: All Stars is keeping us seriously entertained during these cold, miserable January evenings, and the show just got even more juicy after Lucinda Strafford entered as a bombshell. But, is it just us, or didn't she used to be best friends with fellow Islander Millie Court a few years ago?

Lucinda has only been in the South African Villa for a few hours and already she's stirring up all kinds of drama as she sets her sights on Ciaran Davies, who has been getting to know Samie Elishi.

However, forget her relationship with Ciaran—the thing we really want to know is, where do things stand with Millie today? Lucinda touched on it when she first entered the Villa, but here's everything you need to know about Lucinda and Millie's friendship...and their secret feud.

Millie and Lucinda’s Love Island friendship, explained

Okay, so cast your mind all the way back to 2021. It was the first Love Island back after the pandemic, and on day nine, Millie and Lucinda walked in together as a bombshells—and the rest, as they say, is history.

During their time in the Villa, Millie and Lucinda formed a close friendship with fellow Islander Chloe Burrows and became a trio. Lucinda was dumped on Day 28 alongside Aaron Francis, and Millie and Chloe stayed in until the final, where Millie eventually won with Liam.

The three women continued their friendship outside the Villa, frequently posting together on their Snapchats, Instagram Stories, and YouTube.

When did Millie and Lucinda stop being friends?

Well, after nearly two years of friendship in early 2023, the trio stopped posting together, and while Millie and Chloe carried on being friends, Lucinda was seemingly completely absent from their lives.

The last post the three of them shared together on Instagram was during Halloween 2022, where they dressed up as Victoria's Secret Angels.

Millie and Chloe went onto go on holiday together (taking a trip to Miami in early 2023), working together on a number of projects and also ended up living together.

What have they said about their feud?

So far it's never been revealed as to what exactly caused the trio to stop being friends. When Lucinda appeared on All Stars, she touched on her friendship with Millie, telling Ciaran they used to be friends but nothing "deep" caused them to stop being friends.

She told him, "Well, nothing actually happened that deep at all. Obviously, I will speak to her when I see her. I actually didn’t even see her walk in, to be fair. But it will be nice to see her; obviously, I haven’t seen her in ages."

And this isn't the first time she's appeared to address their fallout. Back in 2024, Lucinda appeared on Ami Charlize's podcast, where confirmed she was no longer friends with Millie and Chloe, and opened up about the girls she was still close with from her season.

"I talk to Liberty [Poole] quite a lot. You know what, you didn’t see on TV how close we actually were," she explained. "But as well, I formed friendships with people that I wasn’t actually… I was close to all the girls in there to be fair, and I feel like obviously with editing sometimes they can portray people to not get along when they actually did, but I really liked Faye [Winter]. And again, you wouldn’t know that from the show."

However, neither Chloe nor Millie have addressed why they're no longer in contact with Lucinda.

Maybe All Stars will be a chance for reconciliation for the pair?
