As one of Britain's most famous families, second only to the royals, the Beckhams are no strangers when it comes to headlines and front-page news. Arguably, though, they've never been more under the spotlight than in the week since Brooklyn Beckham dropped his bombshell statement.
Across six scandalous Instagram Stories, Brooklyn made several claims against his family, including that David and Victoria Beckham leak stories to the press, that they "hijacked" his wedding to Nicola Peltz Beckham, and that they measure "family love" by "how much" their kids post on social media. At the end of his nuclear statement, Brooklyn made it defiantly clear that he has no desire to "reconcile" with his family.
It's not just the Beckhams who have been caught up in the fallout of Brooklyn's claims, though. Those around them have too. Marc Anthony is one of the famous faces pulled into the Beckham family drama, and now fellow DJ Kim Turnbull—who is dating Romeo Beckham—has also been put under the microscope. Who is Kim Turnbull?
Born and raised in London, Kim Turnbull is a 24-year-old model and DJ. She has worked with brands including Marc Jacobs, Rimmel London, and Miu Miu, and has over 74,000 followers on Instagram, where she regularly posts photos and videos of her career highlights, as well as travel content. Yep, she's quite the jet-setter!
Is Kim Turnbull dating Romeo Beckham?
Kim Turnbull was first rumored to be dating Romeo Beckham in October 2024. The pair were spotted on several lunch dates and dog walks, and by the end of the year, they hard-launched their romance and went Instagram official.
In May 2025, Kim attended David's now-infamous 50th birthday party, which Brooklyn and Nicola were both noticeably absent from. Brooklyn referenced this in his statement, claiming that the pair had visited London to spend "quality time" with David, but were "rejected" for a week. "He refused all of our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner," he said on his Story.
Just three weeks after David's party, Kim and Romeo called it quits, with rumors at the time hinting that her former connection to Brooklyn (more on that in a moment) was causing tension. Their time apart didn't last long, however, as Kim and Romeo have since rekindled their romance and are still dating each other.
How is Kim Turnbull connected to the Beckham feud?
TMZ reported last year that Romeo's relationship with Kim caused tension with Brooklyn because he had been romantically linked to her in the past. Beckham fans quickly jumped on this, and comments flooded Kim's social media. "Is tht true ?? You date brothers?? Who does that 😂 there are other social ladders to climb not the same family 😢 [sic]," one person said on her Instagram. "I don't get it, is she Brooklyn's ex?" asked another.
Rumors that Kim and Brooklyn once dated resurfaced following his statement, in which he referenced women from his past. In the statement, Brooklyn alleged that Victoria had "repeatedly invited" former flames into his life to make both him and Nicola "uncomfortable." As a result, m any fans believed this to be about Kim.
But a previous Instagram post from Kim seemingly shuts this idea down. Writing on Instagram in June last year, shortly after her brief split from Romeo and the subsequent comments on her posts, Kim said, "I've avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it's come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on."
She continued, "I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative. I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question."
She concluded with, "Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation [and] set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved."
Kim is yet to comment directly on the subject since Brooklyn's statement.
