Though she’s been making headlines thanks to a rumored romance with Tom Brady, Alix Earle claims that 2026 is the year she’s going to focus on herself. Of course, she expressed the sentiment in the wake of her recent breakup with Houston Texans player, Braxton Berrios, in December 2025.
During an interview with People, Alix revealed that she plans to experience “a lot of new, big beginnings” when it comes to projects that have “been in the works.” The Dancing With the Stars alum also shared that she’s also looking forward to “getting to know herself on a deeper level.”
“There [are] a lot of moments of 2025 that have shown me the potential to grow and to expand,” she told the outlet. “I really want to take that into this year and spend more time with myself…getting to know myself on a deeper level and being okay with the quiet or the independent, alone moments.”
She continued, “Being alone used to scare me a lot, and now it's something that I'm learning to enjoy and just getting to know myself even better. [I’m] making this year about me and just continuing to grow.”
Her updates come after Alix—who’s starring in an unscripted Netflix series later this year—shared some hard truths she’s faced since her split with Braxton in December.
“I feel like the weirdest thing with my breakup and just going through it and being alone is just, being alone,” Alix said in a makeup-free TikTok posted on January 20. “Obviously, I have friends, family, whatever. I feel like just having that stability of a male partner or even just someone to talk to or distract me is so weird.”
She added that this is the first time she’s felt truly alone, saying, “I think I’ve just always had boyfriends. I was a boyfriend hopper, and I said, ‘This year, I’m gonna be dedicated to being okay with being alone, but I don’t know why I can’t do it.”
As for those Tom Brady dating rumors, the retired NFL player seemingly broke his silence during a separate interview with People on January 14.
“You know what? I don’t have much time for a personal life or much time for myself, but I love working and I love my kids,” he said at the Fanatics Studios launch party at Intuit Dome in L.A.
