- Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando are strongly considering eloping instead of having a traditional wedding.
- Miley reportedly doesn't want to be a bride again and is prioritizing privacy in her and Maxx's relationship.
- The couple got engaged earlier this month.
If you were hoping that Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando would have the rockstar wedding to end all rockstar weddings, I am so sorry to break it to you, but it's highly unlikely that it will happen.
According to Us Weekly, Miley and Maxx might opt out of the wedding industrial complex altogether and just elope on their own terms. “Miley is really happy right now and in such a good, calm place,” a source told the outlet. “She’s not super into the idea of doing another wedding.”
Do not despair—the “very low-key” couple will “definitely celebrate in their own way,” and are hoping to do “something fun and meaningful that feels very special to them.” At this stage of her life, Miley is more focused on keeping things about the love instead of having a “whole production” of a wedding to stress her out.
The source further explained that Miley and Maxx “have talked about eloping and doing something very private with just the two of them,” and added that the pop star “is embracing this era being engaged and is not in a rush to plan anything.”
And to address the elephant in the room, yes, it does have a little bit to do with her previous marriage to Liam Hemsworth. Her wedding with Liam, according to the source, was still on “low-key” side, but because of that marriage, “she doesn’t necessarily want to be a ‘bride’ again or do anything traditional. Miley loves that this chapter of her life has been more private.”
It's really not too surprising that Miley wants a more intimate and special ceremony with Maxx. In an interview with People on December 2, she revealed that she has been loving the amount of privacy that she's able to have with Maxx, and wants to continue protecting it to the best of her ability.
“The detail that I can share is that for us, our privacy and us kind of keeping it small has been something that I’ve been astounded that I’ve actually been able to have and being able to kind of have more choice,” she told the outlet. “I think it’s also being older, being more protective of what I’m open to sharing.” ❤️
