The icon that is Pamela Anderson isn’t shying away from discussing her relationship with Liam Neeson. Fans (read: we) were truly kicking our feet and giggling over their sweet connection during the press tour for their movie, The Naked Gun, and now, Pam is getting candid about where she currently stands with the Taken actor.
During a recent interview with People, Pam broke her silence on their otherwise private romance. “If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while but only after we finished filming,” she admitted to the outlet, sharing they shared an “intimate week” together in upstate New York, where she had her own room.
According to the Sonsie founder, she and Liam shared a “romantic last week” before they “went our separate ways to work on other films.”
As for their relationship—which critics quickly shut down and referred to as a publicity stunt while they promoted The Naked Gun—Pam confirmed it was 100% real.
“We were having fun,” she shared, adding that their romance felt “a little bit like a Nancy Meyers film.” (Side note: May this kind of love find me…immediately!)
She wasted no time in clapping back at critics, either. “I always was laughing when people thought, ‘Oh, that’s a publicity stunt.’ I’m like, ‘A publicity stunt? This is real. We have real feelings,’” she shared before confirming she and Liam are no longer romantically involved.
“I adore Liam, but we are better friends, in full honesty,” she explained.
Though they’re not a couple, Pam revealed they will “always be in each other’s lives” as Liam has “been such a supporter of this new trajectory in my career.”
