With mere weeks to go before Christmas, even Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios couldn't make it out of breakup season alive—according to People and Us Weekly, the couple recently broke up, ending their two year relationship together. Sorry to break it to all the parasocial girlies out there.

Don't be too sad, though. People cited that Alix and Braxton's breakup was entirely mutual, meaning that neither party will be heading into the holidays with a broken heart (hopefully). Us Weekly cited distance as the reason for their split, with a insider telling the outlet that the “majority of their relationship was long-distance and it was hard for them to navigate.”

Their split notably comes after the Houston Texans wide receiver skipped the Dancing With the Stars finale—where Alix and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy landed in second place in the competition. “Ugh I hope u and Braxton are still together,” a fan commented on her latest TikTok about DWTS. Alix replied, “He couldn’t come bc of football.”

Alix and Braxton's break up has also bred an interesting new development that's quite literally setting the internet on fire. DeuxMoi shared a video to Instagram of Alix leaving an event and telling a mystery man that she and Braxton were over. A user wondered “Isn't that Nic [Vansteenberghe] from Love Island that she is walking with in the story you posted on IG?”

And if that wasn't brow-raising enough, both Alix and Nic posted snaps to their Instagram Story from the same party. 👀

The Nicolandria fans aren't having it, though—“Nic is still with Olandria and still posting/talking about her on his socials. Don’t be weird, celebrities can be friends. He literally posted himself at Alix’s party,” one fan wrote, while another added, “Olandria and Nic have hung out with Alix and both follow her. Nic will never be able to breathe I swear.”
