Meghan Markle’s Netflix Christmas special—With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration—is on its way, and while I was mostly zeroing in on that kiss shared between Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, in the trailer, some viewers were apparently drawn to another detail: the one-shoulder green gown she wears while lighting candles on a festive tablescape.

Apparently, Meghan previously wore the same $1,695 Galvan Ushuaia dress for a Variety photo shoot in 2022—which then prompted reports that the Duchess of Sussex “took the dress from the shoot without asking” for her “royal archive.” Now Meghan’s spokesperson is setting the record straight, and as you might have already guessed, those stolen dress claims are totally false.

In a statement to People, a spokesperson for the Duchess said, “The insinuation that any items were taken without the full knowledge and agreement of the on-set stylists or their respective teams is not only categorically false, but also highly defamatory. Any items kept were done so in total transparency and in accordance with contractual arrangements.” So...I guess that’s on that!

Other enviable items worn by Meghan in her holiday special teaser include her go-to tee in navy (the Sézane Conrad T-shirt, which retails for a reasonable $40), the straight-leg jeans she can’t stop wearing (Ayr’s The Stir jeans, which go for $245), and a cozy dark olive La Ligne Theodore Jacket (which is sadly no longer available but can still be purchased in the similar Mini Theodore Jacket style for $395).

Oh, and let’s not forget all the celeb guests who make cameos! Aside from Prince Harry, you can expect to see a star-studded lineup that includes Naomi Osaka, Tom Colicchio, Will Guidara, and Meghan’s longtime friends Kelly Zajfen and Lindsay Roth.
