• Kate Middleton is preparing to host her fifth “Together at Christmas” carol event, and while Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor will not attend, his daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have reportedly been invited.
  • The invitation puts the York sisters in a “difficult dilemma” about whether to attend.
  • Kate is said to support including the sisters to promote unity, even as William remains unwilling to “forgive and forget” the scandals involving their parents.

Kate Middleton is gearing up to host her fifth annual “Together at Christmas” carol event at Westminster Abbey—and while the disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor will definitely not be attendance, it seems like his daughters might be. According to royal commentator Neil Sean, the Princess of Wales extended invitations to both Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice for her annual Christmas celebration, which presents a “very difficult dilemma” for the sisters.

As Sean explained to Fox News Digital, “The royal family wants to be seen as united amid what has been a very difficult year,” but following Andrew’s exile, Kate’s invitation puts Eugenie and Beatrice in a tricky position.

He continued, “If they don’t attend, it looks like they’re snubbing a prestigious invite. If they do attend, they know there could be a media circus with them at the center of attention.”

Ever since the former Prince Andrew was stripped of his royal titles last month, things have been in flux for the York sisters. Royal commentator Richard Eden previously told the Daily Mail that King Charles “made clear to Andrew that, while his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson would also lose her title, there would be no action taken against their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie,” and so far, that seems to be the case.

Beatrice was even recently announced as a new Deputy Patron of Outward Bound—which was a move that Prince William reportedly “strongly opposed.” As a source for Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop explained, “William wanted the Yorks out of sight until after the King’s next health review. But His Majesty insisted—he thinks the family needs to heal in public.

Sean seconded this, telling Fox News Digital, “Prince William is certainly in no mood to forgive and forget the scandal that Andrew and Sarah have brought forward. However, Catherine believes in not assigning blame. The idea is that the sisters would make a low-key entrance and show support.”

Only time will tell whether they actually show on December 5!
