Well, my friends, that’s a wrap on season 2 of Blind Date! From Logan Lerman to JaNa Craig, Willa has been on some of her most interesting dates, well, to date (forgive me for that one). There have been ups, like Conan Gray revealing that Willa has identical music taste to Olivia Rodrigo, and downs, like Nat Wolff being a little (actually very) late. Through it all, Willa brushed up her first-date skills, made some new friends and, of course, consumed lots of rigatoni. To thank you all for joining us on this ride, she ended the season with the series’ first-ever non-blind date. Instead of guessing and going with the flow, Willa was fully prepared to collect love and relationships gems from none other than Esther Perel.
Right off the bat, Esther identified some room for improvement in Willa’s blind date strategy (basically, there should be no sitting at a table). She emphasized the importance of healthy discomfort in the early stages of a relationship and confirmed that she’s 100 percent behind in-person meet-cutes. She actually has a very good record store hack that I recommend taking notes on, just FYI. She gave a definitive “no” to internet stalking but would love to work with humans in AI relationships. When Willa brought out the vintage Cosmos, Esther actually agreed with some of their advice. Plus, she got into why there’s no such thing as having sex “too early.”
To wrap things up, Esther decided whether everything from asking for a prenup on the first date to Sabrina Carpenter’s “Man Best Friend” album art was “in” or “out.” If you want to hear the answers, you know what to do. Until next season!
