• Prince William and Kate Middleton want everyone to see their "touchy-feely" side.
  • The royals typically shy away from public displays of affection, but apparently that's changing.
  • The Prince and Princess of Wales celebrated the 15 anniversary of their very public engagement on November 16.

Looks like Prince William and Kate Middleton have a new vibe going into the new year—and it flies in the face of royal protocol. Apparently, the couple want people to see their PDA, and are into a new very public "touchy-feely" vibe.

People reports that William and Kate are more "confident and more united than ever" amid their engagement anniversary on November 16, quoting royal biographer Ingrid Seward who previously said, "William must feel so fortunate that Kate has come through this that he wants to tell the world about that love. It shows the intimacy of them sharing that journey together. They are happy for people to see them be touchy-feely. They’re in a different phase of their life now. William is very protective and very proud of her for coming through this and carrying on with her life."

The outlet also reports that insiders told them Kate and William have "grown more protective of each other" and are "creating a partnership that is both grounded and resilient."

TBD on how they spent their engagement anniversary, though honestly...didn't realize celebrating them was a thing! Buuuut when said engagement was broadcast to the world with an in-depth interview, makes sense that it's something to celebrate.
