- Prince William and Queen Camilla have been causing a "lot of angst" due to taking a harder line with Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
- The royal duo were both upset by Andrew's initial statement.
- Both William and his step-mom encouraged King Charles to take "decisive action."
Yet more information just dropped about who was really behind the decision to strip Andrew Mountbatten Windsor of his "prince" title, and the Daily Mail reports that Queen Camilla and Prince William had a huge hand in it.
Sources claim that William was "smoldering on the sidelines" over Andrew's initial statement confirming he'd no longer go by "Duke of York," while Queen Camilla was also "really riled" by it. In fact, Her Majesty was so unimpressed that she began "urging her husband" to take "decisive action" against his disgraced brother.
"[William] was fuming that the King had previously fudged dealing with Andrew and allowed him to make an earlier statement making him seem very honorable," a source explained. "The late Queen went to her grave believing in Andrew's innocence in the Epstein scandal. It doesn't fit well with the King to have to treat Andrew as harshly as he has to. William and Camilla take a harder line which has caused a lot of family angst."
Andrew will now be exiled to Sandringham (where the royals spend Christmas), and his move is being funded by King Charles. Sarah Ferguson, meanwhile, is having to make her own accommodations after living with Andrew in the Royal Lodge for years.
