Love might not be blind, but it’s definitely messy. And the Love Is Blind season 9 reunion proved it. After the controversial season ended in no marriages, you might think that the singles decided dating within the pod squad wasn’t worth it. But you’d be wrong. A lot of Love Is Blind season 9 cast members hooked up after the filming wrapped in April 2024, including one formerly engaged couple—and it was all revealed at the reunion.
Too busy to watch? Here’s a rundown of who dated who, what they said about it, and all the juicy details those Love Is Blind cameras didn’t see.
Mike and Megan
Jordan Keltner actually broke the news at the reunion that his former fiancée Megan Walerius and Mike Brockway had dated after filming, but said he had “no hard feelings.” For her part, Megan said that while they connected in the pods, she just didn’t feel that spark in person.
Megan and Blake
Megan also went out to drinks with Blake Anderson, who ghosted her in the pods, a few weeks after her breakup with Jordan. “He and I went and grabbed a margarita just to—I think he wanted to formally apologize, which I think was admirable,” Megan said.
Jordan added that he didn’t think that Blake had any “ill intentions” asking Megan for drinks so soon after the split.
Joe and Kacie
As previously disclosed by his current girlfriend, Averee Madison, Joe Ferrucci and Kacie McIntosh dated after Love Is Blind throughout May and June of 2024. Though they didn’t label their relationship, Joe confirmed that they dated for about a month and a half.
This relationship was not news to Madison, who said that she heard about their relationship after it was over, when they all ran into each other at Mike’s pool party. “She had the audacity to tell me that we are Eskimo sisters,” Madison said, clearly not amused. “And then you continued to bitch to me about how he treated you, completely disregarding the fact that this was my ex-fiancé.”
Kacie denied Madison’s version of events, but Madison was quick to dismiss her. “You have your perspective, I have my truth. That’s it,” she said.
Brenden and Kait (and maybe Kacie?)
Once they were out of the pods, Kait Nemunaitis and Brenden Guthrie did meet up in person, but Kait said their relationship was brief. “I wouldn’t even call it dating. We went on a date,” she said. Why did their connection fizzle out, you ask? Well, according to Kait, she and other castmates went out together soon after. “And that night, he was just all over Kacie,” Kait said. She later clarifying that Brenden seemed like a willing participant, adding, “They were all over each other.”
Kacie denied this ever happened and tried to recruit her ex-fiancé, Patrick Suzuki, to back her up, claiming he was at the event. “I wasn’t there,” Patrick insisted, raising his hands up in surrender. So, make of that what you will.
Madison and Joe
Before Joe dated Kacie, he and Madison had a brief—but memorable—moment. As Joe recounted at the reunion, he and Madison went to get drinks after their breakup. “In us fashion, I think we got into an argument,” he said, but Madison disagreed.
“I don’t remember us getting into an argument. I think that we were having a conversation where I was trying to get the clarity that I did not feel like I got,” she said. “And ultimately, you had walked me back to my car and we started making out and you started tearing up. What was that?”
Joe admitted that they “probably shouldn’t have started making out,” but said he was just feeling emotional about their relationship ending. Sure, Joe.
Maybe it’s time for this group to date outside of the pod squad going forward.
