Season 9 of Love Is Blind might be over, but the drama continues. Or at least it does for Anton Yarosh. After the finale revealed that Anton was left at the altar by his fiancée Ali Lima, he took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes memories from filming. But there’s one photo in particular that has fans wondering, did Anton just throw shade at Ali?

The shade in question comes in the last photo of this carousel post, which is a photo of Anton with a graphic of an ATM superimposed on his torso. In his caption, Anton joked that the photo was a “preview of my Halloween costume,” and fans immediately connected it to Ali. “Last pic was definitely how she saw u,” one fan wrote.

It’s true that finances were one of the main issues in their relationship. Ali was hoping to find a partner who could pay for a $10,000 engagement ring (he claimed he spent $5,000 on her ring despite the fact that LIB pays for the engagement rings) and help support her Botox habit. But Anton, who works in “transportation and logistics,” was hesitant to commit to such a lifestyle, implying that he would like to live on a stricter budget.

What’s so surprising about this “joke” from Anton is that he himself admitted that Ali wasn’t “the best with money,” but he still said yes at the altar. Clearly, how she talked about money was never a dealbreaker for him, so why is he now his embracing the narrative that he was being used for money?

Meanwhile, Ali threw some shade of her own in a post-finale interview with Swooon. After making it clear that there are no hard feelings between her and Anton, she revealed the jaw-dropping confession he made to her when they reconnected at a party. “He had told me that he said yes, but he didn't know what he would do if I would have also said yes because he wasn't sure that that was actually what he wanted,” she said.

So, in other words, he was relieved that she said no. Something tells me that at the upcoming reunion, airing Wednesday, October 29, he won’t get off that easily.
