Looks like King Charles and Prince William are attempting to shut down reports about their frosty relationship and put on a show of unity. The father-son duo were spotted at the Natural History Museum reception for the COP30 climate summit, and took these slightly awkward pics:

The public outing comes amid Rob Shuter's ShuterScoop reporting that William and Charles aren't communicating at all (like, no calls, texts, or meetings), and a source saying the King thinks William's recent comments on the monarchy are a"betrayal."

Said comments were made during an AppleTV+ interview with Eugene Levy, when William mused, "I think it’s safe to say that change is on my agenda. Change for good. And I embrace that and I enjoy that change—I don’t fear it. That’s the bit that excites me, is the idea of being able to bring some change. Not overly radical change, but changes that I think that need to happen."

Meanwhile, royal historian Robert Lacey pushed back on feud rumors, telling People that William's comments "shouldn’t be seen as criticism of King Charles." He also noted that the Prince of Wales is "very close to his father and has been his most important supporter."
