• Nicole Kidman just dropped some advice, saying no matter how "devastating" something is, there's a way through.
  • In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, the actor said, "You are going to have to feel it, and it's going to feel insurmountable at times."
  • Nicole recently filed for divorce from her husband of 19 years, Keith Urban.

Nicole Kidman opened up about her life in an interview with Harper's Bazaar, saying the "best part" of getting older is the "experiences that you've accumulated."

Her full comments? In a chat published after news of her split from Keith Urban, Nicole said, "The best part is the experiences that you've accumulated. So you go, 'Oh, I’ve been here before. I actually know how to handle this now.' Or, 'Maybe I haven’t been in this place, but I've experienced something similar to this, and I do know that I will get through it.'"

Without referencing her divorce directly, Nicole added, "There’s something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through. You’re going to have to feel it. You’re not going to be able to numb it. You are going to have to feel it, and it's going to feel insurmountable at times. You’re going to feel like you’re broken, but if you move gently and slowly—and it can take an enormous amount of time—it does pass."

Love this advice.

As a reminder, news broke of Nicole and Keith's separation on September 29, at which point a source told People, "She didn’t want this. She has been fighting to save the marriage." Nicole filed for divorce just one day later, hours after reports dropped that Keith had a new girlfriend. Full timeline below, if you're blurry on the details!
