• Cardi B is expecting her fourth child, her first with boyfriend Stefon Diggs.
  • Stefon is in the thick of paternity drama, including a lawsuit alleging that he’s the father of another woman’s child.
  • Cardi—who’s experiencing some legal drama of her own with her ex Offset—reacted to Stefon’s paternity case during an Instagram Live on Sept. 20.

Is Cardi B the drama, or is it her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs? The Grammy-winning rapper—who’s expecting her fourth child, and first with the NFL wide receiver—seemingly reacted to his recent paternity drama with another woman.

During an Instagram Live on September 20, Cardi responded to accusations that Stefon is the father of model Lord Gisselle’s five-month-old child. “That’s your baby daddy, bitch?” Cardi asked during the livestream, per Page Six. “That’s my baby daddy, too, girl.”

The “Bodega Baddie” artist—who seemed generally unbothered while making a casserole during her Instagram Live—also revealed that she was confused by the recent development. “Well, what now?” she asked, adding, “I don’t fucking know. We’ll figure it out, bitch.”

Before Cardi hopped on IG Live, Gisselle (real name Aileen Lopera) filed a lawsuit against Stefon in December 2024, alleging that he is the father of her five-month-old daughter. Per court docs obtained by People, she was pregnant at the time and filed the lawsuit in hopes of “determining a parental relationship of their unborn baby.”

The athlete filed a response, requesting a paternity test of the baby. If he was proven to be her father, he requested joint legal custody and joint payment for “reasonable expenses” related to the child.

On September 17, Cardi announced that she and Stefon were expecting their first child together during an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings.

“I’m excited. I’m happy,” she said. “I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work—but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

However, the rapper is in the thick of some legal drama of her own, as her ex-husband Offset has reportedly held off the process of their divorce.

“The only reason why I’m still married is because somebody wants me to pay for their taxes,” she claimed during an X Spaces chat with fans on September 22, per Us Weekly.

She added, “Y’all wanna know the tea? The only way I can get out of my marriage is if I pay for somebody else’s taxes, even though I pay for my own, and give them one of my properties. I’m fighting for that, I’m gonna fight for that. This is not no love shit.”
