Rosé just showed up at the 2025 VMAs red carpet to collect her Song of the Year award! The singer showed up on stage wearing a shimmering butter-yellow dress with fringe and gave the SWEETEST speech.
Rosé is nominated for eight (8!) awards as a solo artist at tonight’s show and reacted to the news on Instagram. “So I’ve just heard that I’ve received eight VMA nominations,” she posted to Instagram Stories back in early August when nominations were announced. “I am beyond shocked and I just don’t know what to say. I’m absolutely speechless! This is a crazy day! Whoa! It’s really, really wild! What’s happening?!”
Rosé and Bruno Mars’s song “Apt.” is nominated for Video of the Year, Song of the Year (which she won!), Best Collaboration, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Visual Effects, and Best Art Direction. Her song “Toxic Till the End” is also nominated for Best K-Pop. Oh, and on top of that, Rosé’s Blackpink bandmates, Jennie and Lisa, also earned noms in the Best K-Pop category!
