Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce just got engaged (...in case you hadn't noticed!) and they're gearing up to start the wedding planning process. And apparently, multiple designers are lining up to make Taylor's gown.
"This isn’t just a dress—it’s history," a fashion exec source tells Rob Shutter's Naughty But Nice. "Taylor’s gown will be the most important since Princess Diana’s. Whoever lands it becomes immortal."
Another insider says that multiple designers have already reached out, saying, "It’s a feeding frenzy. Sketches, fabrics, archival ideas—everything’s being thrown at Taylor’s camp," while a friend adds, "One dress, one designer, one photo and the entire industry will be defined by it for decades."
That said, Taylor and Travis aren't even wedding planning just yet. A source tells People that the couple "have been in celebration mode ever since the engagement. They are not in the wedding planning phase yet. Right now they just want to enjoy being engaged and they are going to take their time with it. It has been a relief not having to keep it a secret anymore, and they are glad it is out in the open."
In case you're desperate for details, there is some reporting on the guest list, which will include close family and friends. The alleged list so far? Selena Gomez, Ashley Avignone, Zoë Kravitz, Abigail Anderson, the Haim sisters, Brittany Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes, and Travis' friends Kumar Ferguson, Aric Jones, and Ross Travis.
