Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce just got engaged and now they're figuring out practical details like, you know, where to build a life together. In other words, the couple are currently searching for their "forever home."
A source tells Us Weekly that the pair are looking at "different destinations" and "aren’t 100 percent sure where they will plant roots, so that’s why they have been looking around."
Meanwhile, Page Six reports that these two are considering Ohio—specifically an area near Travis' hometown of Cleveland Heights. Either way, Travis and Taylor travel a lot for work, and Tay has multiple homes across the country—including in New York and Los Angeles.
As for what's next, Travis is about to start the NFL season, while Taylor is busy promoting her new album The Life of a Showgirl which drops in just over a month. Meanwhile, Travis' dad Ed Kelce has been on a "my kid just got engaged" press tour, and dished about the proposal to none other than News5Cleveland.
"Travis actually did the proposal, oh, maybe two weeks, not quite two weeks ago," Ed mused. "He was going to put it off till this week. I think she was getting maybe a little antsy, but he was going to put her off till this week, to, you know, make some grand thing, to make it a big special event. And I told him repeatedly, you know, you could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event ... when you get down on one knee and ask her to marry you."
