Taylor Swift just made an almost two-hour appearance on New Heights, where she officially announced her new album The Life of a Showgirl. And revealed the tracklist! And producers! And vibes!
And if you're wondering why Taylor decided to make the TS12 announcement on Travis Kelce's podcast, apparently she wanted to support him like he's constantly supporting her. Which is...seriously so sweet.
"She wanted to save the news of her album for his podcast as a way of supporting him and his platform — just as he’s always championed her," a source tells Entertainment Tonight. "They see each other as true partners in every sense."
On top of revealing her album, Taylor spoke a lot about how she and Travis met and started dating, saying of Trav shooting his shot on his podcast, "It was such a wild romantic gesture to be like 'I wanna date you!' ...This dude didn't get a meet and greet he's making it everyone's problem."
She added that "I was like if this guy isn't crazy, which is a big if, this is sort of what I've been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager. I knew that he wasn't crazy the first couple of times that we talked, I was like he's truly getting to know me in a way that's very natural very pure very normal."
