Another day, another update on these persistent Zoë Kravitz and Austin Butler dating rumors.

Quick update on everything that's been going on before we dive into things:

  • Zoë and Austin play love interests in the upcoming film Caught Stealing, and photos of them kissing during a scene circulated back when they were filming. Which...naturally everyone assumed meant they were dating in real life.
  • The Sun reported in April that "Austin and Zoë have been spending time together over the past few weeks" and that "They get on very well and their chemistry is as good off-screen as it is on it. Austin and Zoë have been keeping it under the radar and aren’t putting a label on anything yet."

Cut to circa right now, and Zoë and Austin were spotted out in NYC together at "Viola’s Room" in Hudson Yards. And while director Darren Aronofsky was with them, the pair were also seen—as Page Six put it— "heading out into the night afterwards."

Soooo...are they dating?

According to TMZ not so much. The outlet says it spoke to "multiple sources" who claim "Austin and Zoë are just friends—not dating like some are implying." They also said Darren actually left the event with them, adding that it was "definitely not a date."

That said, it seems like Austin and Zoë are both single...though Zoë's been spotted with Noah Centineo lately, so who can say for sure!
