It’s official: 2025 is the summer of Love Island USA. The dating show may be over for the year, but the spin-off, Beyond the Villa is just beginning, and it’s already making headlines. On Wednesday, July 16, Beyond the Villa star Miguel Harichi denied rumors that he had cheated on Leah Kateb, his Love Island USA season 6 connection.

Miguel responded to a since-deleted TikTok video from a fan, who claimed that Miguel had been spotted in L.A. flirting with some Love Island USA season 7 castmembers. He made his own video in response, which has also since been deleted, calling the TikToker an “absolute buffoon” and denying the story.

“First and foremost, I am in New York right now,” he said, gesturing to a building in the background. “Secondly, why would you say I am with people that I wasn’t with? I haven’t even met any of the season 7 cast.”

He continued, personally calling out the TikToker. “This fool right here is claiming I was out in the streets moving loose,” he said.

Miguel added that while he was originally planning on ignoring the rumors, fans who kept tagging him in the comments made it impossible to ignore. “Anyone that thinks it is okay to lie to boost themselves up at the expense of others is sick and needs help. You need help. Don’t do it,” he concluded. (Again, both the original TikTok and Miguel’s appear to have been deleted.)

Cheating rumors aside, Miguel and Leah are still going strong. Just a few days ago, Leah posted a TikTok to celebrate the one-year anniversary of when they first met in the Villa. “I can’t believe I met my heart n soul a year ago,” she wrote in the caption, adding, “u completed me.”

Fans can get a front-row seat to Leah and Miguel’s relationship on Peacock’s new show Beyond the Villa. The couple are starring in the Love Island spin-off alongside season 6 winner Serena Page, JaNa Craig, Kenny Rodriguez, Kaylor Martin, Connor Newsum, Aaron Evans, Liv Walker, and Kendall Washington.
