Anyone else watch Superman over the weekend and immediately become obsessed with the cast, what they're like in real life, and more specifically/nosily, who they're dating? Same, so let's kick things off with Rachel Brosnahan who has been in an extremely low-key relationship for years. Here's what you (urgently, if we're being honest) need to know about her husband Jason Ralph.

He's (Obviously!) an Actor

Which you are WELL aware of if you're a fan of The Magicians, the best show ever (I will not be hearing opinions to the contrary).

On top of The Magicians, Jason has starred in Younger.

He Was in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Jason starred as Mike Carr during season 5 and season 6, and he told Entertainment Tonight of working with Rachel, "She's just the best, and I just feel very lucky to have gotten to be kind of like a fly on the wall. Who gets to see the person that they're married to, and love, command a set like that, and be a leader? I felt very lucky to be there."

He Co-Founded a Theater Company

Florida-born Jason grew up in Texas, but went to college at SUNY Purchase, where he cofounded the theater company Strangemen & Co with his friends.

He and Rachel Have Been Together Since 2013

The pair first crossed paths while working on I’m Obsessed With You: But You’ve Got To Leave Me Alone. Town & Country wrote in 2022 that all the actors lived in a dorm together and that Rachel "was so committed to her role that she wouldn’t date him until after filming." Meanwhile, she noted "It was a hard no for me. Stay away, stay away. Okay, fine."

They Secretly Got Married and No One Knew for Years

Nothing was ever confirmed, but they showed up to the 2018 Emmy Awards with rings on their fingers so everyone put two and two together and assumed they'd gotten married that year.

However, Rachel told People (via Refinery29) at the SAG Awards in 2019 that "We’ve been married for years and been together for even longer. We had a good laugh when the news came out that we had just got married, like 'Happy six-month anniversary, honey!'"

They Intentionally Keep Their Relationship Private

As Rachel put it to People, "I’ve been quite private about my personal life for a few reasons. The first being that it’s just that…personal,” she said. “Jason and I also noticed early on that, while we are both the leads of successful television series, he has almost never been asked about our relationship while I have been asked on almost every red carpet I have walked in the last 2 years. We both find this double standard problematic and frustrating and opted to redirect those conversations to our work."

That said, she shouted out Jason in her Best Actress win speech, saying "Jason, I love you. I wouldn’t be here at all without you. Thank you."

And Jason has said some sweet things about Rachel over the years—including to Entertainment Tonight in 2023 when he gushed "Being the lead of a show is like a really, really difficult job, and she does it with such grace and humility. And there she is and so beautiful."

In conclusion: LOVE THEM!
