Orlando Bloom is in the "posting cryptic things to Instagram" phase of his breakup, and he seems to be feeling lonely? At least based on a Carl Jung quote the actor posted late Wednesday night, which reads "Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself."
Oh, and another quote for all of us to read into (though Orly didn't share this one directly)? "Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness."
Rumors of Orlando and Katy's split have been swirling for weeks, and a source recently told People that their relationship has been "breaking down the last couple of months." Oh, and while things are "amicable," they "got to a point where they feel there is no going back to a healthy relationship and that it’s better to live separate lives."
Another source more recently noted that "Katy and Orlando have been suffering through the same problems that have plagued them for years. [They had] too much going on in their lives, which makes it hard to find time for each other and iron out disagreements. When they don't communicate properly, their relationship dips to a low level."
For what it's worth, neither Katy, Orlando, or their reps have actually confirmed the end of their engagement, so...maybe things could still work out?
