Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce might have skipped the 2025 Met Gala, but make no mistake: They were on the guest list.
TMZ reports spoke to “sources with direct knowledge” who said the couple “were invited” to Fashion’s Biggest Night in New York City but “could not make it work as a result of their schedules.”
Obviously, Taylor and Travis have been out of the public eye since the Super Bowl (it’s been...forever!). And if you’re wondering when they’ll make their anticipated return to the spotlight, it could be a few more months. A source just said this to the Daily Mail:
“Before she knows it, Travis will be back on the field, and she won’t have this time to be with him on a consistent basis. Right now, she is happy laying low, working on music, hanging out with Travis, hanging out with family, catching up on life since she was on tour for so long. The next time we will really see her or hear from her might end up being in July. She’s looking to get back to her epic Fourth of July parties. She is looking to make this year an awesome one.”
They also obliquely referenced Taylor being dragged into Blake Lively’s legal drama, saying, “[She and Travis] like to go out with friends but as of late, with everything going on, they find themselves wanting to be at home together a lot. They are most comfortable when not swarmed by people and can be themselves.”
