Prince William and Kate Middleton are celebrating their wedding anniversary today, April 29, so naturally sources are out here chatting about the state of their relationship. And veteran royal reporter Rebecca English just dropped a bunch of new tea over on the Daily Mail, saying that Kate and William are equal partners in everything and Wills is absolutely not here for his wife being disrespected by anyone.
"He flies off the handle at any sign of Catherine being patronized and stamps that out very quickly," a friend of Prince William's told English. "It's one of his triggers. Over the years, many people have come up with great ideas for her, but if they are put across in a dismissive way, they've got pretty short shrift from him."
Meanwhile, a source says that William and Kate "are as happy as anyone has ever seen them."
This comes amid English revealing Prince William's furious reaction to The Princess of Wales' nude photo leak back in 2012 (when they were on royal tour of Malaysia), saying she had never seen the royal "so angry," that his jaw was "clenched" and he could "barely contain his fury." English also recalls Kate staying calm at an event just "hours after the publication hit newsstands," and that she "was able to smile, shake hands and make small talk, without the slightest quiver or indication that anything was amiss."
