But nope, apparently these two are still very much on the outs—although they are having trouble cutting the cord. According to an Us Weekly source, “They had been together for so many years and their lives are very intertwined. It’s hard for them to just pull the plug and stop all communication.”
However, according to this insider “the wedding is still off,” “Sydney and Jonathan have maintained a good relationship during this time and aren’t back together,” they’re currently “figuring things out,” and Sydney “is still maintaining that she is single and very focused on work.”
As for why they broke up in the first place, a source previously told Us Weekly, “Things are also always tense between them when she is promoting a movie because she has to give her full attention to the project, and people always speculate about their relationship and Sydney being close to her costars. It’s a tough dynamic for Jonathan.”
