Paige DeSorbo has entered the chat surrounding Craig Conover and his new flame, Natalie Buffett. On the April 23 episode of Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen, Paige was asked how she felt about her ex moving on. “I love it, I’m so happy for him,” the Bravolebrity gushed during a cheeky segment called “Turning the Paige.”
While she seemingly had well wishes for Craig, she also addressed some awkward situations she’s faced with her ex after their split. When asked if she thought he should have defended her amid cheating rumors once they had broken up, she responded, “I feel like exes don’t owe each other anything, but we’re in a different situation. I didn’t need him to defend me, but I needed him to not lean into it.”
Of course, Andy was referring to Craig’s appearance on a February episode of Watch What Happens Live!, where he dodged a question about consigning Paige’s claims that she “never cheated physically or emotionally” during their 3-year romance.
“I’m the ex-boyfriend, moving on with my life. I’m not going to get sucked into the mud with them. Her cast … like, commenting on how I am grieving and that I’m sorry that I’m not reading Reddit everyday, getting on there and defending her,” he said at the time. “Like, I never said you cheated, so I’m not a part of this.”
Paige also got real when it came to her thoughts on her Summer House co-star, Kyle Cooke, calling her ex a liar amid drama surrounding business moves with alcoholic beverage brands Loverboy and Sparkling Spritz. “I think he nailed it,” Paige said of Kyle’s comments.
The Giggly Squad host admitted that her split with Craig wasn’t mutual, saying, “Obviously, yeah, it wasn’t. I broke up with him.” But don’t get it twisted—she cleared up any misconception that she wasn’t in love with the Southern Charm star during their relationship.
“I don’t ever want people to think I was leading Craig on. I loved him, I wanted to marry him,” she said of their past romance. “That was real...Over the summer, working through all of those emotions in real time. I could see my brain working.”
