In a world dominated by tabloids, it can be hard to know whether or not you’re really getting the truth about your fave celebrity couples. Timmy’s mom, Nicole Flender gave a bit of insight into her son’s relationship with Kylie in a recent interview with Curbed. Although she didn’t reveal much about the couple, she did compliment his son’s girlfriend. “I have to say she’s lovely,” Nicole said. “She’s very nice to me.” I should hope so!
Nicole also touched on Timothée’s Beverly Hills home, which he bought in 2022. Though she works as a real estate agent, she told the publication that her son did not ask for her help when buying the reportedly $11 million property. “Did he ask for my advice? No,” she said. “He said, ‘Guess what? I bought a house.’”
It sounds like Kylie has Timmy’s family’s approval, or at least that of his mom. Reports claim that Timothée’s older sister, Pauline Chalamet, is less enthused by her brother’s choice of partners. In March, she took a stand against billionaires on Instagram, which was interpreted as a potential dig against Kylie, who was famously once heralded as a “self-made” billionaire. (But photos of Pauline and Kylie laughing at the Oscars suggest the two get along just fine.)
Meanwhile, Kylie’s family is 100 percent on board. A report from Daily Mail claimed that the actor joined Kylie’s family on an Italian getaway in January and was officially welcomed into the Kardashian fold. “Kris, Kim, Khloé, Kourtney, Kendall—they’d all met Timothée before, but the relationship was very new at that point and they wanted to get to know him properly,” a source said. Apparently, the trip was a success because Timothée is now “considered part of the family.”
Timothée has also reportedly gotten to know Stormi and Aire, Kylie’s two children. “When they are in L.A. together, he spends time with her kids too,” a source told People earlier this month. “Her family loves that she’s dating him. They have seen such positive changes in Kylie. She’s the happiest.”
