The Kelces have officially expanded their sweet family (and athletic dynasty). Kylie Kelce and former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce welcomed their fourth daughter, Finnley “Finn” Anne Kelce, on March 30. But, according to Kylie, the baby naming process wasn’t so simple.

A day after her youngest daughter was born, Kylie recorded a new episode of her podcast Not Gonna Lie with Finn in her arms, where she dished all about her pregnancy and how she came up with her final name. Her other three children, Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett, all have names with two T’s, but she went in a different direction with baby number four.

“If we don't have two Ts, it's okay, and she's still one of us,” the podcaster shared after revealing her newborn daughter didn’t even have a first name for an entire day. Once she was discharged from the hospital, Ky shared that she and Jason had only come up with her middle name, Anne. “It’s the most generic middle name you could possibly have. I love that I’m just roasting myself,” she joked.

She explained, “We had an idea. We had discussed names with anyone that we could trust to not share names, and we didn’t go with a single option that we had been discussing.”

At one point, she admitted that she almost called her Baby Girl Kelce. “I considered just letting that one roll,” she said. “It was gonna be a very, like, Phoebe from Friends moment of like, ‘Oh, you named her Baby Girl.’”

She then went down the line of potential names, including Colette (Cole for short), Georgie, and Winnifred. Don’t get it twisted, though—that last option is not an homage to their dog who passed away in March 2024.

“One of the other names we considered was Winifred. That is not the name of our dead dog,” Kylie explained. “Her name was Winnie, and we had plans to call the baby Freddie because I think a little girl named Freddie has to be, like, so badass and so cute.”

She also let the public know that she sees their thoughts on her baby’s name, to which she jokingly responded, “I totally respect your opinion on the names of our children. You’re allowed to have your own opinion, but I actually don’t care what it is. And I mean that in the most, like, loving and respectful way.”

While Finnley was actually a recycled name she had considered for her daughter, Elliotte, Kylie added that her newborn is “very much a Finn. Like, she's a cute little Finn.”
