Prince Harry has reportedly cut ties with his cousin Princess Eugenie due to her spending time with Piers Morgan. Eugenie was photographed with the controversial British TV personality in April of last year, which allegedly did not sit right with Harry.
The Sun originally reported on the rift, with a source saying "A dim view was taken of [Eugenie and Piers spending time together], as Piers has clashed with Meghan and Harry in the past. Eugenie has been supportive of Meghan and Harry for years and was right there at the beginning of their relationship—but it has now soured."
Meanwhile, Piers confirmed the rift himself, saying on Uncensored, "Well, that was because of me actually—the Eugenie thing—because she was with me and a group of other people in a pub in London. I was seen hugging them goodbye, and Harry saw this and went completely ballistic. And I can confirm—breaking news—that this is entirely true."
As a reminder, Piers came under fire for extremely offensive comments he made about Meghan on Good Morning Britain, which—per PBS—led to more than 41,000 complaints as well as an investigation. He ended up leaving the show.
So, obviously Prince Harry has a lot of reason to feel some type of way about a friend or family member hanging out with him! That said, neither Harry nor Eugenie have commented on this alleged rift, so take it with a grain of fancy royal salt.
