The Beatles biopics have officially been confirmed, and now that The Fab Four have been revealed, it's time to turn our attention the other A-listers who will inevitably round out this cast. And apparently White Lotus fans think Aimee Lou Wood has been leaving subtle easter eggs that she's playing George Harrison’s ex-wife Pattie Boyd.
The evidence?
Mostly just the fact that Aimee liked this post of George and Pattie on their honeymoon:
And the fact that she straight up re-shared the pics:
Not much to go on (maybe she's just a fan), but this casting would be genius/perfect. If it isn't already a thing, please make it a thing, Powers That Be.
So, what do we know about the Beatles movies? First of all, that's movies plural. There are four of them, each told from the perspective of a different Beatle, with Paul Mescal set to play Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn playing George Harrison, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, and Harris Dickinson in the role of John Lennon.
Director Sam Mendes recently explained the decision to make four movies, saying the story of the Beatles is simply “too big for one film,” and didn't work as a TV show. “We’re not just making one film about the Beatles–we’re making four," he said. “Perhaps this is a chance to understand them a little more deeply.” He went on to call the films “the first binge-able theatrical experience.”
