It’s the One Direction x Love Island crossover you didn’t know you needed.
According to new reports in The Daily Mail and The Sun, Louis Tomlinson and Zara McDermott are officially dating. Which probably comes as no surprise to fans who have been speculating as much for a minute based on social media clues.
Anyway, the newly minted couple were just photographed enjoying a romantic meal together at a hotel in Suffolk, where they were “seen giggling and holding hands.”
“Louis whisked Zara away for a break in Suffolk and he absolutely charmed her,” a source tells The Sun. “It’s clear he thinks she’s drop-dead gorgeous too. Louis is a proper gentleman, so this trip was something he planned and put on for Zara. He was really thoughtful and wanted to make it special. They share the same values and are both incredibly close with their families. Louis is very protective over his sisters and Zara is the same with her younger brother Brad. For now, they’re taking things slowly and enjoying each other’s company to see where it takes them.”
Meanwhile, an eyewitness told the outlet, “Louis and Zara were having a great time. They were touching hands over the table and looked so happy and relaxed. They had the brill, the whole fish, and shared it with sides and Zara had a few cocktails. Louis was really making her giggle and they chatted for ages.”
