Remember when Lily-Rose Depp took the stage at the Oscars and you were like please choose chaos and pan to Timothée and Kylie. Well the cameraman did not, in fact, choose chaos, but it doesn't even matter because apparently Kylie and Timmy left the premises before Lily-Rose arrived on stage.
According to the Daily Mail, Timothée whisked Kylie away to avoid any "drama," and remain sensitive to how fragile she is amid the loss of her close friend, Jesús Guerrero. The moment was seemingly caught on camera in several fan TikToks:
"Kylie struggles with insecurity issues, and she can feel out of place at these events," a source explained, regarding the decision to leave. "She is aware of some of the criticism levelled at her and how some people believe she shouldn’t be at these ceremonies. She likes to void any drama. Plus, she is in a very fragile state right now. Jesus’ death has shaken her."
The source added that "Timothée is doing everything that he can to be there for her and show her the love she needs right now" and that "They are both aware that had they stayed seated, everyone would have been talking about their reaction to Lily-Rose on stage. It would have caused unnecessary drama. Timothée did everything he could to keep her happy and to protect her."
Kylie and Timmy largely stayed together throughout the evening, though she did move seats during the Best Actor award, allowing his mom to take her place. There's a video of that too, so...
