This week's episode ended on a devious cliff-hanger ahead of the season finale, and if you want to know who wins, sorry! That answer is under lock and key somewhere in Alan Cumming's castle. However, fans realized that the show did accidentally spoil itself waaaaaay back when they dropped a Season 3 trailer in January.
The trailer features footage of Britney and Dolores looking up at the sky towards a helicopter, and since the "Helicopter Challenge" hasn't happened as of yet, it's safe to assume this is footage from next week's final episode. Meaning they both definitely make it. Which of course we knew as of last night, but has secretly been a spoiler this entire time.
This week's episode ended on a cliffhanger thanks to a tie break vote between Ivar and Danielle at the round table, and apparently it was very stressful to film. Executive producer Sam Rees-Jones told Variety, "there are things that we didn’t expect to happen, that the audience might not expect to happen as well. There are twists and turns that were exciting and terrifying to film!"
Oh, and just FYI he also confirmed that he and his fellow producers fully aren't in control of who gets voted off: "There are times where we say, 'Oh, that’s a shame they’re going so early.' We are completely out of control, and there’s something disconcerting about being out of control about the boot order. Sometimes people might get murdered or banished when we don’t want them to."
