We have long considered Daisy Edgar Jones the unofficial queen of the micro shorts trend. After all, this is the woman who essentially tore up the red carpet rule book when she wore high-shine Gucci hotpants to the 2024 BAFTAs. No surprise, it was one of the best looks of the evening. She also repped the look last September, opting again for Gucci in a pair of high-waisted tiny white lace see-through shorts to attend the Italian fashion house's spring summer 2025 show during Milan Fashion Week.
Proving her style credentials yet again, the actress has once more donned a pair of micro shorts. And staying true to form, they were of course Gucci—this time worn for the brand's autumn winter 2025 runway show that took place on Tuesday, February 25, to kick off this season's Milan Fashion Week.
Dare we say, this might be Daisy's shortest pair of micro shorts yet?
For the fashion show, Daisy wore a black collared button-down thin knit cardigan adorned with scattered disc sequin embellishment and coordinating micro shorts that could just be glimpsed beneath the knit's hem. She completed the look with sheer black tights, black knee-high riding boots and gold jewelry.
Daisy's recent fashion success is largely thanks to her partnership with Dani Michelle, a fashion stylist who regularly works with Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner. Daisy and Dani first started working together last year ahead of the Twisters press tour where the actress wowed in corset gowns and boho ruffled maxi dresses.
With four more days left of MFW and Paris Fashion Week still to come, we can't wait to see what the hotpants queen wears next. That's right, move over Paul Mescal. No doubt the actor—and Daisy's former Normal People co-star—is quaking in his short shorts (probably).
