Hi, there's a new chapter in the Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover breakup drama, because ofc there is. In case you missed the shocking Summer House season 9 premiere, the episode concluded with a flash-forward montage to the aftermath of Paige and Craig's split—including a scene where Paige accuses Craig of texting two other women while they were still dating. Um, yikes.
Now Craig is out here setting the record straight. During an upcoming appearance on the Tamron Hall show, which drops on February 17, Craig addresses the cheating allegations...and lucky for fans, Us Weekly obtained a sneak preview.
“Shep [Rose], my costar on Southern Charm was like, ‘That’s the most frustrating thing about you, is how loyal you are,’” Craig tells host Tamron in the clip before adding, “So I’ve never cheated.”
And when Tamron asked why Paige suspected he was “corresponding with someone else,” Craig went on to explain, “That wasn’t part of our breakup. That was filmed later on. I think it was a retaliatory scene.”
You might recall that previously, Paige was accused of cheating on Craig...and he very much did not have her back. During a February 6 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Craig even defended himself for not defending her amid cheating rumors and went on to say that Paige didn't "want different things, she wanted different people."
"I don’t want to be involved," he said. "I got broken up with. I’m the ex-boyfriend, now moving on with my life. I’m not going to get sucked into the mud with them. Her cast, like, commenting on how I am grieving and that I’m sorry that I’m not reading Reddit everyday, and getting on there and defending her. Like, I never said you cheated, so I’m not a part of this." Oh, and he ALSO said the breakup was not mutual, so there's that.
