Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber performed a gorgeous rumba to The Little Mermaid’s "Kiss the Girl" during Dancing With the Stars this week, and Sasha...did not kiss the girl. As he put it, it's called being classy!
Instead of kissing Jenn on the lips, Sasha went ahead and kissed her forehead—a move that Julianne Hough (who thinks they have wild chemistry) called out.
After her brother Derek mused "is it weird for me to say that I ship this," Julianne said "A kiss on the forehead? Sasha, come on.” In response, Sasha called the kiss "elegant" and "classy" (not wrong), while Jenn joked “He got nervous.”
Julianne then asked “Well, with the chemistry that you two have, does that actually make a difference? So, does it make a difference with the chemistry, though, to have that for this partnership?”
Apparently, the answer is 1,000 percent yes. “Absolutely,” Jenn confirmed. “I mean, I think if we didn't have such a good relationship, like our dancing would be totally off. We trust each other so much. We know each other so well. So that's why this works so well.”
BTW, the partners also spoke to Access Hollywood about fans shipping them, although Sasha fully fumbled his answer: "Guys, why is there always like...well, you know. Well, you don't know. Who knows? It's one of those."
After that attempt at a sentence, he added "This was a beautiful rumba it was elegant I wanted her to hit the lines. It wasn't about the romance and this and that. You know, I thought I would be a gentlemen and kiss her on the forehead."
