In case you hadn't noticed: Taylor Swift skipped the last couple of Chiefs games, which inevitably caused the internet to descend into (false) breakup theories and general chaos. But! It looks like we can expect Tay to show at tonight's game between the Chiefs and the Saints at Arrowhead Stadium—at least according to Travis Kelce, who was caught on camera saying "I know she's coming to the game."
Reminder that Taylor was notably absent from the Chiefs September 22 game against the Atlanta Falcons *and* their September 29 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. But she had good reason! For starters, the Eras Tour is kicking off again later this month and Tay's been preparing. But there are also security concerns when it comes to the Grammy-winner attending games at other stadiums, so she prefers to support the Chiefs at home in Kansas City.
“If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead, there are security concerns,” a source told Page Six after Taylor missed last weekend's game against the Chargers. “She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable. Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.”
Just FYI, Taylor won't be at the Chiefs next two games on October 20 and October 27 due to performing in Miami and New Orleans on the Eras Tour. But she's free for the Chiefs's next home game at Arrowhead Stadium on November 4, so stay tuned for that.
