It’s official: You can stop speculating in your The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives group chat (what, you don’t have one? can’t relate), because Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen are officially done—news that comes after the reality star posted a cryptic TikTok of herself dancing whilst crying. Ahem:
Us Weekly confirmed the news of the split and *also* ran an interview with Taylor (which was reportedly conducted prior to her TikTok cry-dance), where she implied that things between her and Dakota were on the rocks.
“I would say we’re working on things, and I actually have no idea where it goes with us from here,” the reality star began. “We are not fully together, but not fully done. I don’t know what the future holds with him and I.”
Taylor added that she’s “heartbroken” and “trying to cope,” before going on to explain that Dakota was less than thrilled with his portrayal on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
“He has a really good soft side, and I feel like that wasn’t shown on the show,” she mused. “He’s like, ‘I look like this asshole to you while you’re pregnant, when that’s just not the case of how I treated you the whole time. Yes, I did defend myself in [some] cases, but that’s not how I am to you. I look like this awful person when I’m not.’”
FYI, neither Taylor nor Dakota has yet to comment on their relationship status other than that crying-dancing TikTok—which btw incited a comment from Mayci Neeley that read, “This new chapter will be better than ever! Lean on us, we got you babe.”
