Taylor Swift went from game day to nighttime bash last night (September 15) after attending the Kansas City Chiefs’ matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals (the Chiefs won in a 26-25 victory, NBD) and then heading to Patrick Mahomes’ 29th birthday celebration.
Though we sadly weren’t in attendance (our invite seems to have gotten lost in the mail 😭), we were luckily able to vicariously live out the night thanks to a buncha snaps the musician was in. Fellow Chiefs WAGs Chariah Gordon—who is engaged to Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr.—and Sheawna Weathersby—the partner of defensive tackle Chris Jones—shared the cutest snaps with Tay on Instagram in which the celeb can be seen sporting red sunglasses and her signature red lip. Ahem:
FYI, Patrick’s wife/one of Tay’s besties Brittany Mahomes *also* took to social media to document the celebratory night, which took place two days before the quarterback’s actual birthday on Tuesday, September 17.
“Celebrating our boy!” Brittany can be heard saying in footage of herself walking into the venue, which was outfitted with a *chef’s kiss* balloon arch, blown-up bb pics of the athlete, and a huge sign that read “Patrick’s 29.”
Oh, and btw, Brittany also posted the sweetest ~content~ that highlighted Patrick’s monogrammed party cups and coolers, and the huge cookie cake guests (and the b-day boy!) got to enjoy.
FYI, earlier in the day, Taylor attended boyfriend Travis Kelce’s game alongside her mom Andrea Swift, who showed her support for the Chiefs and the tight end by sporting a red shirt complete with a pin that read “In my 87 era” in a sweet nod to the footballer’s jersey number and her daughter’s forever iconic Eras Tour.
And to make matters even more OMG-worthy, later on during the game, Andrea and Trav’s mom, Donna Kelce, were spotted legit hugging each other in a moment that truly made us (read: every single person ever) all 🥹.
