Jennifer Lopez Was Photographed in NYC on Her and Ben Affleck’s Official Date of Separation

In case you didn’t get the news alert blasted to your phone and/or group chats, Jennifer Lopez has filed for divorce from Ben Affleck. Interestingly, TMZ reports that she listed their official date of separation as April 26, 2024—just a couple of weeks before initial rumors that she and Ben had split hit the news cycle.

And because she happens to be one of the most photographed people in the world, paparazzi actually snapped pics of J.Lo on the day she and Ben ended their relationship. Turns out, she was in New York City and was spotted solo:

Seems safe to assume J.Lo was in NYC to prep for the Met Gala on the first Monday in May, which she cochaired (and attended without Ben).

Just several weeks later on May 15, tabloid InTouch broke the news of Ben and Jen’s split after speaking to an “insider” who alleged, “The writing is on the wall—it’s over.”

Since then, the celebs have listed their mansion for sale, Ben bought a new house legit on Jen’s birthday, and the two spent the summer largely apart—with him in Los Angeles and her in the Hamptons.
