Internet boyfriend Paul Mescal has moved on from (allegedly) running away from women in parks and is now dating Gracie Abrams—his first confirmed-with-pics relationship since Phoebe Bridgers. The man has a type! That type being: friends of Taylor Swift.

A source tells DeuxMoi the following juicy nugget: “I’ve heard from two different people now that Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams are hanging out/dating, but I haven’t seen it firsthand.”

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that Paul has signed up for a dating app, so there's that!

March 2024

The Mirror reports that Paul is dating Sophie Wilde, saying, “Paul and Sophie have been having lots of fun to­­­gether and now their friendship has turned into something more. They got really close after last month’s B Awards and were seen smooching into the early hours at an after-party at Chiltern Firehouse. It’s early days, but they’re excited about where things could go. They have a solid foundation and loads of respect for each other.”

A source reaches out to DeuxMoi and says, “Word on the street is that Paul broke Gracie’s heart late last year. His fans think they met in London after he followed someone on her tour during her London show and their Instagram ‘flirtationship.’ This was around the time he was active on Raya and going on lots of dates.”

Another month, another Gracie and Paul sighting. The couple is papped while shopping together in Mayfair but—according to a source for The Sun—they try to keeping the outing pretty discreet.

"They seemed very relaxed in each other’s company and were busy checking out the posh shops on Bond Street," the source says. "Paul is a very low-key person, as is Gracie, so there was no fanfare and they kept their distance from each other when they were out on the street."

August 2024

DeuxMoi drops the first pic of Paul and Gracie holding hands in London! I mean, they definitely look like a couple.

Meanwhile, a source tells People that they've "been hooking up" and it’s "still early stages.”

October 2024

Paul attends Gracie's concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, with an insider for People claiming the two are "going strong."

A few weeks later, Paul is seen at the Eras Tour supporting Gracie during her opening set!

November 2024

Gracie pulled up to the premiere of Paul's movie, Gladiator II, at the TCL Chinese Theater in L.A., marking their first public appearance together.

Soon after, a source for People says Paul and Gracie "are the real deal" and are even planning to take a vacation together in the new year. "They’re at the top of their game and always in communication," adds the source.

December 2024

Gracie makes her Saturday Night Live debut, and after, fans spot her and Paul in New York City exiting a car and entering a building together while holding hands.

February 2025

Gracie graces (heh) the digital cover of Cosmopolitan, where she dishes about her relationship with sex and how her dating life has evolved.

“What I love about a healthy relationship is that your life doesn’t radically change,” she says, without going into specifics about Paul. “You just fit into each other in a way that feels positively challenging and deeply supportive—it’s like a place to land.”

April 2025

An insider dishes to People that Gracie and Paul are still going strong, no matter the distance. “Despite their busy schedules, the couple is making each other a priority,” the source says, adding, “There’s no denying the strong chemistry between Paul and Gracie, true lovebirds.”

Gracie walks the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Paul's new film, The History of Sound. The two don't walk the carpet together and don't pose for photos, but fans are quick to interpret the appearance as a sign that the two very much an item.

The couple is spotted on a picnic date in North London’s Highbury Fields ahead of Gracie’s Glastonbury debut.

Then, after Paul supports Gracie in the crowd during her Glastonbury set, a source tells The Sun, "Paul is so proud of Gracie and loved being with their friends as she saw her dream of performing at Glasto come true."
