Another day, another update on the never-ending It Ends With Us drama. Before we get into the latest, a quick reminder that fans have been side-eying ever since most of the film’s cast unfollowed director/actor Justin Baldoni on Instagram and seemingly refused to do press with him.

Then last week, insiders told the Hollywood Reporter that “there was a fracture among the filmmakers in the post-production process, wherein two different cuts of the movie emerged.” The magazine also spoke to “multiple sources” who said Blake Lively “commissioned a cut of the movie from editor Shane Reid” (aka an editor on Deadpool & Wolverine) but that it's “unclear” whether it was used.

Flash-forward to this week, and a source from the set is out here telling People the following: “All is not what it seems. There is much more to this story. The principal cast and [author] Colleen Hoover will have nothing to do with him.”

Ummmm...say more!

Anyway, this cryptic update comes amid the Daily Mail and Page Six dropping slightly more salacious reports about what may have happened on set. According to the Daily Mail’s insider, Justin had a “dismissive” attitude about Blake’s “input” surrounding scenes that involved domestic violence. The person close to the sitch also claimed (among other things) that “Justin failed to consider Blake’s character’s perspective, instead focusing solely on what he believed was the abusive male viewpoint. His approach was very chauvinistic, creating a tense atmosphere on set.”

Meanwhile, Page Six’s source said Justin made Blake feel “uncomfortable” and created an “extremely difficult” work environment. Neither Blake nor Justin has spoken out directly about all this but...stay tuned!
