The rumors were true: Lady Gaga performed a stunning rendition of Zizi Jeanmaire's “Mon Truc En Plumes” during the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony on July 26. The gorgeous performance took place alongside the River Seine, where Gaga walked down the steps alongside dancers with massive pink feathered fans and paid homage to the iconic French song. She then moved on over to the piano, where she continued performing before closing things off with more choreo. Honestly, we've lost any and all ability to chill. Check it out for yourself:

Although she didn't perform Édith Piaf's "La Vie En Rose" alongside Céline Dion as previously reported, this is still major for obvious "icon on stage" related reasons. It's also a huge moment for Gaga, who's gearing up for the release of her seventh (!) album and another box office hit, Joker: Folie à Deux, in October. The "Bad Romance" hitmaker teased her upcoming album—which is temporarily being referred to as LG7 for now—after she dropped her Chromatica concert film earlier this year.

"I have just been in the studio all the time, and I’m making a lot of music," Gaga said during an interview with Drag Race star Sasha Velour in June. "It’s just this incredibly vast experience that I just feel so lucky that I get to have. I’m excited for Monsters to hear where I am now, and to be connecting on that level again.”

After she slayed the Seine River, Gaga posted stunning pics of her outfit and a lengthy caption explaining the inspo behind her performance.

"I feel so completely grateful to have been asked to open the Paris @Olympics 2024 this year. I am also humbled to be asked by the Olympics organizing committee to sing such a special French song—a song to honor the French people and their tremendous history of art, music, and theatre," she wrote in part. She ended her note by congratulating the athletes who are competing, saying, "It is my supreme honor to sing for you and cheer you on!! Watching the Olympic Games always makes me cry! Your talent is unimaginable. Let the games begin!"

Gaga's Olympics performance only reminded us how much we miss seeing her on stage. Excuse me as I'm going to revisit every Gaga performance ever rn.
